A Cape Breton person who has been missing for nearly six months has been killed by a subsequent person. Cape Breton Regional Police arrested 36-year-old Ryan Joseph Pike on Friday and charged him with second-degree murder and robbery related to the demise of 34-year-old Justin MacDonald. Earlier this month, authorities charged 38-year-old Mitchell George McPhee with MacDonald’s murder, as well as assault and rape. No more details will be made available as the research continues, and more fees and prosecutions are pending, police said in a statement late on Saturday night.
