​Niger: The investiture of General Abdourahmane Tiani, a new era for the country in the face of the challenges of transition 

  Le Général Abdourahmane Tiani has been promoted to the rank of Général d’Armée and has officially taken up his duties as President of the Republic of Niger. This marked ascension occurs in a complex and critical political context for the country. The inauguration ceremony, which took place in the capital, Niamey, was an opportunity for the new president to take an oath before the institutions of the Republic and to commit to working for the stability, peace and development of Niger. The General Tiani, who played a central role in the recent political developments in the country, was invested at a time when Niger is facing multiple challenges, notably in terms of security, governance and national reconciliation. His appointment came after a transitional period marked by significant events and internal tensions.
