The China Development Bank (CDB) has granted a $255 million loan for Nigeria’s Kano-Kaduna railway project, which is a 203-kilometer standard-gauge line linking Kano to Abuja. The funding will help the project move forward on schedule, enhancing regional connectivity and providing a safe, efficient transportation option. Nigeria has obtained $255 million from China for an important rail project that is a significant part of the Third Belt and Road Initiative.
