The Nigeria Rugby Federation has announced the Stallion 7s squad for the senior men’s team ahead of the 2025 African Cup in Mauritius. A post on the federation’s X account revealed a total of 12 players and 2 reserves. The squad includes Matthew Ilube, Isa Omale, Richard Adeniyi-Jones, Olukolade Adedoyin, Declan Nwachukwu, Gabriel Etim, Joshua Adams, and captain Kitto Oliver, alongside Anthony Egodo, Oghenesuvwe Obano, Frederick Henry-Ajudua, and Akeem Yusuf. The reserves are Michael Ogunwole and John Anthony. Steve Lewis will coach the team, with Azeez Ladipo serving as Team Manager. The tournament is scheduled for June 21st to 22nd, and the Stallions will compete in Pool B against South Africa, Zambia, and Burkina Faso. By James Agberebi.
