​Nigerian striker has signed with Armenian team Van FC.    

 

Ajibona Usman, a young player from Dosu Joseph Football Club, has signed with Van FC in Armenia. The 18-year-old forward, who honed his talents at Russia’s Vista Gelendzhik academy, made the transition with the help of agent Paul Ojo. He will be with Van FC for an undisclosed fee until the end of the season, where he aims to acquire experience in the first team and league. “Usman has transferred to Van FC from Vista Gelendzhik until the end of the season.” This action represents a significant advancement in Usman’s professional growth. “We extend our best wishes for his career,” DJFA stated. Usman is anticipated to make his first appearance when Van FC faces Alashkert on Saturday. Van FC, established on May 31, 2019, plays in the Armenian Premier League and is currently ranked fifth with 29 points, having achieved nine victories, two draws, and six defeats in 17 games. The team has netted 34 goals while allowing 21.
