Christopher Nkunku has reached a personal agreement to join the Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich. Nkunku is looking to return to Germany after struggling to secure a starting spot at Stamford Bridge.
Although an agreement has been made between him and the club, talks between Bayern Munich and Chelsea regarding the 27-year-old are still in progress. Chelsea has reportedly set a transfer fee of €70 million to let the French player go, according to Fabrizio Romano.
With Mathys Tel expressing a strong interest in remaining in Munich, it may be more difficult for Bayern to reach an agreement due to Chelsea’s financial demands. If a deal to sell Nkunku cannot be finalized during the winter transfer window, Bayern is prepared to wait until summer for the PSG academy product.
