NNL: ABS FC coach Ogundeji hails players after defeat to Lobi Stars 

Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ABS, coach Ogundeji Joel, has hailed his players’ performance despite the defeat against Lobi Stars.

The Ilorin-based side suffered a 2-0 loss to Lobi Stars in a matchday 11 fixture in Makurdi on Saturday.

Onah Peter and veteran forward Barnabas Imenger were on target for Lobi Stars in the game.

Ogundeji said he was proud of the effort and determination displayed by his players during the encounter.

“I am satisfied with my players’ performance. They showed great determination, discipline and team spirit throughout the game,” Ogundeji told Owosports.

“The result does not truly reflect our effort on the pitch. It was a bit of hard luck for us, but I am proud of the mentality the players showed.”
