Abakaliki FC head coach, Starplus Izuikem Anistar is upbeat on his team’s chances in their remaining fixtures in the Nigeria National League, NNL, this season.
The Rice Boys will face Ekiti United, Solution FC, Calabar Rovers and Akwa United in their remaining NNL games this season.
Anistar singled out their clash against Ekiti United as a major concern for his team.
He believed that the match will be key in the club’s promotion target.
“We’ve four games remaining, with three of such games away from home, Ekiti United, Akwa United, Solution FC and Calabar Rovers,” Anistar told Completesports.
“But my concern is the long trip to Ado Ekiti for the game against Ekiti United. Aside from that, I believe our team can hold their own against any opponents, bearing in mind that we are not looking back in our promotion bid.”
Abakaliki FC occupy fourth position on the NNL Conference B table with 22 points from 14 matches.
