The Nigeria National League (NNL) has announced that all matches for Matchday 17 in Groups C and D will commence simultaneously. These crucial games for the 2024-25 season are set to begin at 3 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, games will take place across the northern centers. The Chief Operating Officer of NNL, Danlami Alanana, explained that this initiative aims to prevent match outcome manipulation and maintain fairness as the regular season comes to a close. In his communication to the clubs, Alanana emphasized the importance of providing equal opportunities for clubs to advance with transparency and trust within the League. In Group C’s final matches, Jigawa Golden Stars will compete against Sokoto United, Wikki Tourists will square off with Zamfara United, and Mighty Jets will face Barau FC. In Group D, Sporting Supreme will go up against Kebbi United, Yobe Desert Stars will challenge Basira FC, and Kada Warriors will host Adamawa United. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the NNL Super Eight playoff tournament.
