​NNL: Ndah Resigns As Edel FC Head Coach Amid Internal Unrest    

 

Ndubuisi Ndah, Head Coach of Nigeria National League (NNL) side Edel FC, Awka, has stepped down from his position, Completesports.com reports.. Ndah, a former FC One Rocket manager, joined the club last month. Edel FC currently sit bottom of the NNL Conference A standings.. The coach resigned just hours after leading the team to a 2-0 victory over Obosi United in the quarter-finals of the 2025 NEROS/Anambra State FA (ANSFA) Cup at Rojenny Stadium, Oba, near Onitsha.. At exactly 9:56 p.m. on Wednesday, the Delta State-born tactician sent a WhatsApp message to Completesports.com, stating: “I’ve resigned.”. When contacted via phone, Ndah explained his decision:. “I came to this club last month, in January. I was just beginning to get the players to adapt to my playing philosophy,” Ndah , a onetime Rangers International defender, said.. “But I’ve noticed some sinister moves within the team, and I don’t want to be caught unawares.. “I enjoyed every bit of my stay here, and I wish the club well.”. Ndah also revealed that his resignation was met with disappointment from the players.. Investigations suggest that the club had already made plans to sack him. Reports indicate that an undisclosed coach had been secretly observing the team’s training sessions ahead of Wednesday’s NEROS/ANSFA Cup clash. The same coach was also present at the Rojenny Stadium to assess the team.. However, the club’s secretary, Mike Chukwuebuka, did not respond to calls or messages seeking confirmation of the situation.. NNL clubs are set to embark on a mid-season break in the next two weeks..
