New Head Coach of Edel FC Awka, Sylvanus ‘Quick Silver’ Okpala, has outlined a clear strategy for the club’s survival in the ongoing Nigeria National League (NNL) Conference A season, Completesports.com reports.. Okpala, who won the Africa Cup of Nations as a player in 1980 and as an Assistant Coach under Stephen Keshi in 2013, believes that with self-belief and hard work, Edel FC can navigate their way out of the relegation battle and avoid a drop to the Nationwide League.. Edel FC currently sit ninth in the 11-team Conference A table, having accumulated just five points from a possible 30 after 10 matches.. Okpala insists that if the team finds consistency, they can retain their NNL status.. “Yes, it’s possible, and that’s exactly what we’re working towards,” Quick Silver told Completesports.com in Awka.. “In football, they say nothing is impossible.
