Yobe Desert Stars have listed 20 players for transfer following the end of the 2024–25 Nigeria National League season. As reported by DAILY POST, the team could not achieve promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League during the recent Super 8 playoffs. The announcement was made by the Damaturu club on Saturday, indicating that the players’ release is part of their restructuring plan for the upcoming season. Additionally, the club has ended the contracts of their captain and first-choice goalkeeper. However, the club will continue with its secretary and media officer for the new season.
