A Ghanaian person living overseas has claimed that most of them are not really happy and may return back home if given the chance.
Speaking in an interview, the Ghanaian gentleman said living overseas is not easy and if many of them have the opportunity they will return home.
However, he said the purpose they choose to be abroad, no matter how hard, is because the quality of life out there is so much better than they would find in Ghana.
According to him, the quality of care, education, bridges and other things that make life easier are so advanced that he is willing to stay it and forget his want of moving up house.
He said the ability to provide his kids good education for free in the public school system is important to him. He noted that if he returned to Ghana and wanted to give his kids the same level of education, he would have to pay astronomical fees to send them to private schools.
He added that the roads are also phenomenal and he can drive without worrying about an accident, unlike in Ghana, where bad quality roads cause many avoidable road accidents.
