
Warri Wolves technical adviser Aluma Napoleon has commended his players for adhering to instructions in their win over Nasarawa United.
Napoleon, who was recently reinstated as the Seasiders’ head coach, admitted that the encounter against high-flying Nasarawa United was tough and challenging.
Warri Wolves defeated Nasarawa United by a lone goal at the Southern Delta University Stadium in Ozoro on Sunday.
Othuke Egbo scored the decisive goal for Warri Wolves.
“Playing against the league’s table toppers is tough and challenging,” Napoleon told the club’s media.
“But we had to be tactically smart to manage the game to our advantage. The boys executed the plan well, and this win means a lot to the team.”
With the victory, Warri Wolves moved to sixth position on the league table with 27 points.
