Barau FC technical adviser, Ladan Bosso, has commended his players for showing resilience and determination in the victory over Rivers United.
The Maliya Boys rallied to beat Rivers United 4-1 in a matchday five rescheduled fixture in Kano on Friday.
Bosso believed that the victory was a good response to the team’s last home defeat to Shooting Stars.
“The last loss at home was a wake up call, as you all know Rivers United is a continental team which they showed it in the game,” Bosso told Barau FC media.
“The goal conceded was as a result of a careless mistake and I commend the players for their determination in getting the victory.”
Barau FC will be up against Nasarawa United in their next league fixture on Tuesday.
