Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia will this evening, battle Enyimba Football Club of Aba in important Nigeria Premier Football League match.
The game which is known as Abia Derby, would be witnessing a large turn out of supporters of the clubs from two major towns of Abia State.
Abia Warriors, who sit 5th on the league table with 49 points, are 13 points ahead of the Peoples Elephant, who are currently 16th on the log with 36 points.
Warriors will be needing a victory to boost their aims of qualifying for a African continental engagement.
Enyimba on the other side, needs a victory today to further climb away to safety, from the threat of relegation.
However, the Coach of Abia Warriors, Imama Apapakabo has said that he is focused on the game , not looking at the current positions of the two teams.
