NPFL: Finidi calls for better performance from players in match against Plateau

Rivers United’s technical adviser, Finidi George, has called for better performance from his players before their matchday 19 game against Plateau United. The Pride of Rivers has only achieved two victories in their last five league matches. They will compete against Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium on Monday. “This is our final match of the first half of the season against Plateau United, and we will aim to improve on our previous performance,” Finidi told the Rivers United media team. “We need to focus on our defense because if we don’t concede from there, it becomes quite challenging for us to give up goals from open play.”
