NPFL: Kano Pillars get N1.3m cash reward for beating Remo StarsĀ 

Kano Pillars have been rewarded with a cash gift for their Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 25 victory over Remo Stars FC.

The Sai Masu Gida defeated the Sky Blue Stars 1-0 at the Sani Abacha Stadium last Sunday.

Luis Dadong grabbed the goal that earned Kano Pillars maximum points in the game.

The players received a cash prize of N1.4 million for the win against Remo Stars.

ā€œWe want Kano Pillars to return to where it belongs. We have lived too long on past glory, and now is the time to rebuild and rebrand the club to a higher level,ā€ Chairman of the Kano State House Committee on Sports, Kabiru Dahiru Sule, stated while presenting the cash prize.

Kano Pillars will take on Kwara United in their next game in Ilorin this weekend.

Mohammed Babaganaru’s side occupy 17th position, while Kwara United are 18th in the league table, with 28 and 27 points, respectively.
