NPFL: Kwara United get double injury boost ahead of Tornadoes clash

Kwara United have received a major boost ahead of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, matchday 16 fixture against Niger Tornadoes.

The Harmony Boys have welcome back the duo of Toheeb Gidado and Olanrewaju Abdulrahman from injury ahead of the game.

The players rejoined the rest of their teammates in training in readiness for the North Central derby clash with Niger Tornadoes.

The duo are expected to feature for Suleiman Ashifat’s side in the game as they look to end their four-game winless run in the league.

Kwara United will battle with Niger Tornadoes at the Rashidi Yekini Mainbowl Stadium in Ilorin on Sunday.

Interestingly, Kwara United has a strong home record, with four wins, two draws, and only one loss at home this season.

Niger Tornadoes, on the other hand, have struggled away from home, with one win, one draw, and five losses on the road.

The match is expected to be a tough one, with Niger Tornadoes currently sitting in fourth place with 23 points, while Kwara United is in 14th place with 18 points.
