​NPFL: Kwara United Issues Warning to Coaching Staff for Unsatisfactory Performance    

 

Kwara United has sent a serious admonition to its coaching staff, urging them to improve and secure a strong conclusion to the 2024/25 NPFL season. In a statement published on Monday, the Club Chairman, Mr. Kumbi Titiloye, through General Manager Mallam Bashir Badawiy, expressed regret to fans for the team’s recent unsatisfactory performances. He stressed that while the management does not interfere with team selection, they anticipate improved results in the future. The club voiced significant disappointment over their recent defeat to Akwa United, especially after competing in front of their home fans. The management is hopeful about making a comeback against Nasarawa United on Wednesday. They have expressed their sincere apologies to the supporters for the disappointing results. “We have advised our technical team to stay alert and dedicated as the season progresses towards its conclusion,” Badawiy mentioned. Kwara United has also called on their supporters to keep backing the team, promising enhanced performances in the upcoming matches. Currently positioned 13th in the NPFL standings after 30 games, Kwara United is set to take on Nasarawa United on Wednesday in Ilorin.
