Ikorodu City, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), has finalized the acquisition of Liberian goalkeeper Derrick Julu. Julu signed a two-year contract after transferring from Watanga FC. “We are thrilled to welcome Derrick Julu, the Liberian national team goalkeeper, from the two-time Liberian First Division champions, Watanga FC, on a two-year deal,” stated Ikorodu City during his introduction. Julu adds to the growing contingent of international players in the NPFL and is anticipated to compete for the starting goalkeeper position. Ikorodu City will face Kwara United in their first match of the season.
