Monday Odigie is reportedly connected to the open technical adviser role at Akwa United, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Reports indicate that he spoke with the Promise Keepers on Friday. Odigie, the former Bendel Insurance coach, is in the running for the position along with Kennedy Boboye. DAILY POST notes that Akwa United interviewed Boboye last week. The team is seeking a new coach after Mohammed Babaganaru’s resignation, and they are expected to finalize their choice before the second half of the season begins.
