Evans Ogenyi has officially taken up the role of technical adviser for the Kano Pillars, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). He conducted the team’s training at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Thursday. Ogenyi was appointed as the new head coach of the Sai Masu Gida on Wednesday, following the departure of Usman Abdallah, who left the club after the 2024-25 NPFL season. The seasoned coach returns to Kano Pillars after successfully leading them to NPFL promotion in 2023. Previously, he has also managed Warri Wolves and Lobi Stars.
