Plateau United technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, has described his team’s draw with Abia Warriors as a good start to the second stanza of the season.
The Peace Boys held Abia Warriors to a 1-1 draw at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday.
Ogunbote admitted that there is still lot of room for improvement in his team.
He assured that they won’t be carried away with the away draw.
“It’s a good start getting the first start on the road,” Ogunbote told the club’s media.
“We still have a lot to do we won’t allow it to get into our head, we want to get a team that we will get a positive result.”
Plateau United remain in 19th position with 20 points despite the result.
