NPFL: Osigwe celebrates as Kun Khalifat end barren streakĀ 

Former Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Osigwe, has boasted that his tactical brilliance was key in helping Kun Khalifat end a five-game winless run in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

DAILY POST recalls that Osigwe replaced coach Obinna Uzoho who was suspended by the club for poor performance last month.

Kun Khalifat defeated Plateau United 2-0 in a matchday 15 encounter at the Dan Anyiam Stadium , Owerri on Sunday.

Gabriel Olalekan and Henry Ezeonye netted for the Owerri-based club in the game.

ā€œIt’s just like some few days ago that I took over as the head coach of Kun Khalifat,ā€ Osigwe stated after their win against Plateau United.

ā€œI have to use the tools that I have in the right places to make a change where it has been wrongly used in different directions which has affected the team to deliver.ā€

Kun Khalifat moved to 16th position in the league table with 17 points following the win.
