Shooting Stars technical adviser, Nurudeen Aweroro, has admitted that they were unlucky to lose to Nasarawa United.
The Oluyole Warriors lost 1-0 to Nasarawa United at the Lafia City Stadium on Monday.
Moyi Hassan netted the decisive goal for Nasarawa United.
Aweroro expressed disappointment with the outcome of the match.
“It’s a disappointing result for us today, but we are grateful to God for the outcome,” Aweroro reacted in a post-match interview.
“Nasarawa United are not a bad side. It’s a team with great quality, and they won today because luck was on their side.”
Aweroro however promised they won’t give up on achieving their objective for the season.
“However, we won’t relent until we achieve our goal for the season,” added the gaffer.
