Kwara United head coach, Ashifat Suleiman has attributed his team’s defeat against Barau FC to failure to convert scoring chances.
Suleiman admitted that his team were punished for their profligacy in the game.
The Harmony Boys fell 3-2 to Barau FC in the keenly contested encounter.
Usman Maidubji, Muhammed Umar and Stanley Oganbor were on target for Barau FC, while Johnmark Aule and Chibuzor Ogbodo scored for Kwara United.
“We were punished for not taking our chances.”Suleiman told Kwara United’s media.
Kwara United will do battle with Niger Tornadoes in their next game in Ilorin.
