Osigwe insisted that the players failed to play to instruction in the game.
Suraj Lawal’s second half goal gave Abia Warriors a 1-0 win over Kun Khalifat FC at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Sunday.
“My players got it wrong because they were not playing to instructions,” Osigwe stated in a post-match interview.
“There were a lot of misplaced passes from my players, they will learn from the mistakes and improve on the performance in subsequent matches.”
Kun Khalifat FC currently occupy 18th position on the league table with 17 points.
