Major NPP officials reportedly stormed Sarah Adwoa Safo’s home to supposedly prevent her from honoring her appointment commitments from now, Friday, March 21, 2025.
Safo missed two interviews scheduled for Friday night, one for Kessben FM/TV and the other for GhOne TV, despite her planned arrival.
After her inability to attend the interviews, it became known that leading NPP officials had literally prevented her from leaving her home. The NPP managers stormed Safo’s house to stop her from honoring her obligations, according to a Facebook post by Kessben TV.
Kessben Television stated on its Twitter webpage:” Hon. Some members of the NPP’s Leadership have ambushed Sarah Adwoa Safo to stop her from delivering the scheduled meeting on Kessben TV this morning.
Safo and her party rulers were reportedly having a “meeting” that prevented her from attending the meeting, according to a later release with more details. CBS Television apologised for not being able to heat the discussion they had promised to their viewers and listeners.
Adwoa Safo’s subsequent controversy over NPP party exposés have shaken Ghana’s political landscape. She explained the real reason for her decision to spend a significant portion of her second term in office traveling overseas.
Safo also revealed President Akufo-Addo’s refusal to act and how perish was a widespread problem in the school-fed program. Her disclosures about serious gathering secrets caused the NPP to get her, but she refused, leading to the fight at her home on Friday night.
