Nigeria’s Flamingos will battle Team Delta for gold medal in the women’s football event at the 2024 National Sports Festival on Tuesday (today).. The encounter is slated for the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta at 4pm.. The Flamingos defeated Team Ogun 1-0 in the last four to seal a place in the final.. Team Delta dismissed Team Osun 4-1 in their semi-final contest.. In the men’s final, hosts Team Ogun will be up against Team Kwara.. The game will also hold at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta. It will kick-off at 6pm.. Ogun defeated Golden Eaglets 2-1, while Kwara beat Kaduna 1-0 in the semi-final.. The Golden Eaglets and Flamingos are participating in the 22nd National Sports Festival as part of the praiseworthy Invited Junior Athletes (IJA) initiative of the National Sports Commission..
