Team Ogun’s Taiwo Ogunbanwo claimed gold medal in the men’s 10m air rifle at the 22nd National Sports Festival in Ogun State.. Taiwo fired 24 shots in 12 rounds with 225.4 points to beat Delta State’s Okposo Esugo, who is Nigeria’s number one.. Esugo, who has dominated the category for the past 15 years scored 223.5 points.. Team Borno’s Samuel Okanlawon won bronze medal with 204.0 points.. Ogunbanwo alongside Oluremi Emmanuel also won silver medal for Ogun in the team’s 10m air rifle..
