Slavia Prague defender Igoh Ogbu has expressed that he is in no rush to join Nigeria’s Super Eagles. In a conversation with TribalFootball, Ogbu mentioned that he has been in touch with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), but he plans to wait for the right moment to play for Nigeria. He noted that the Super Eagles are a team that every Nigerian child aspires to be part of. “Every footballer dreams of representing their country, wearing the national jersey, and feeling proud,” Ogbu stated to Tribalfootball. “I was in touch with the NFF.” The most recent time I communicated with them, my father had recently died. I simply wait for the right moment, and when it arrives, I’m confident I will be part of the team. “I’m not in a rush.” I only trust in my abilities, and I need to be patient. Other Nigerians are participating, and there are additional players present too. If you continue to work hard and enhance your skills, your opportunity will eventually arrive.
