According to Completesports, Paul Onuachu may not be available for Southampton’s match against West Ham United on Saturday. Onuachu sustained an ankle injury during Southampton’s 3-0 home defeat to Aston Villa last weekend. The 30-year-old was substituted by Tyler Dibling in the second half. Interim manager Simon Rusk gave an update on the forward’s condition prior to the game against West Ham. “He’s returned to training over the last couple of days, so right now it’s about a 50-50 chance. We’ll evaluate him tomorrow to see his status more clearly,” he said on the club’s official website. “We’re optimistic, but we haven’t reached a definite conclusion yet.” The striker has netted four times in 22 league matches for the Saints this season.
