Victor Osimhen scored two goals as Galatasaray triumphed over Fenerbahce 2-1 in an exciting Turkish Cup quarter-final held in Istanbul on Wednesday evening. Turkey international Baris Yilmaz assisted Osimhen for the first goal just 10 minutes in. Osimhen then converted a penalty in the 27th minute, securing Galatasaray’s second goal. Fenerbahce’s Sebastian Szymański managed to score later in the first half. In the 85th minute, Osimhen received a yellow card for a foul. He was substituted a minute later by Spain’s Alvaro Morata. The 26-year-old has achieved 27 goals and five assists in 32 matches for the Yellow and Reds this season. Meanwhile, his fellow Nigerian, Bright Osayi-Samuel, did not play and remained an unused substitute for Fenerbahce in the match. Reported by Adeboye Amosu.
