The former Minister of Justice, Ousmane Diagne, addressed this Sunday a message of thanks to the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, and to his Prime Minister, Ousmane Sonko, after having left the government made public on Saturday evening. “I would like to thank the President of the Republic (…) and his Prime Minister (…) for this mark of confidence which I consider to be of fair value”, wrote the former guardian of the seals in a text published on his social networks. M. and Diagne also expressed his gratitude to all the members of the government with whom he said he had worked “with immense pleasure” because of “their extreme courtesy and sense of duty”. Wishing “plein succès” to his former colleagues, the former minister concluded his message with a formula of thanks in Wolof: “Dieuredieufeuti”.
