Ousmane Sonko is absent and sends five ministers to the front

Following the publication of the report of the Court of Auditors on the situation of public finances from 2019 to 31 March 2024, the Government is facing the press, this Thursday 13 February at the Mamadou Dia Administrative Building. But this time, this meeting with journalists will not be hosted by the Head of Government, Ousmane Sonko. After a meeting on the same subject which had aroused a great outcry last September, the Prime Minister preferred to send to the coal five members of his government team, including the Minister of Finance, Cheikh Diba, then director of budget planning. Mr Diba will not be alone in this exercise of explaining the report’s findings. He will be accompanied by the government spokesman, Moustapha Sarré, the Minister of Economy, Abdourahmane Sarr, the Guardian of the Seals, Ousmane Diagne, and the Secretary General of the Government, Ahmadou Al Aminou Lo.
