Le Président de l’Assemblée nationale, El Malick Ndiaye, a reçu en audience with the French President Bonira Chan, Director of the Francophonie at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia. The discussions focused on the strengthening of parliamentary cooperation, the challenges of the Francophonie and the valorisation of cultural links between the two countries. M. and I would also like to thank the President-in-Office of the Council for his reply. For his part, President Ndiaye reaffirmed Senegal’s attachment to the Francophonie, calling for a more dynamic parliamentary diplomacy at the service of development, peace and solidarity. The two parties agreed to continue the dialogue and to explore new avenues of collaboration, notably in the fields of culture, training and interparliamentary dialogue.
