Paul Jordan, Veteran LAPD Officer Killed in Car Accident
A veteran LAPD officer who was just a couple of years away from retirement, Officer Paul Jordan, has died.
Jordan’s death occurred during a car chase on his way home from work, according to reports. Aside from his long career with the LAPD, Jordan also worked at Disney.
Jordan was a Senior Lead Officer with the LAPD Hollywood station. News of his passing was mourned my all and sundry, who praised him for his long service, dedication and commitment to protecting the citizens of Los Angeles.
“Officer Jordan dedicated his life to serving and protecting our community with commitment and compassion. His presence will be deeply missed by his colleagues, friends, and the countless lives he touched,” LAPD Wilshire Station said in a tribute message.

A good friend and Disney colleague of the deceased, Doug MacLeay, had nothing but good words to share about Jordan.
“We use the term hero loosely at times but Paul was totally a hero to me. He spent his career protecting the citizens of Los Angeles. Paul was a big man, both his physical presence as well as how he carried himself,” he wrote.
Officer Jordan leaves behind his beautiful wife, son, and daughter.
The LAPD also mourned a second officer, Sergeant Felicia Robinson from the 77th Street Division. Funeral arrangements for either officer are yet to be announced.
