The Kaduna Police Command has announced the arrest of a well-known kidnapper and the dismantling of a kidnapping group that has been threatening the state’s citizens. This information was revealed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Mansir Hassan, in a statement provided to reporters in Kaduna. The statement indicated that the police seized a fake AK-47 rifle, 58 bricks of Arizona, and 33 bags of suspected cannabis from the suspects. It mentioned that Sule Muhammad was apprehended on Christmas Day by officers from the Saminaka Division and admitted to being part of a well-known kidnapping gang that kidnapped a district head on August 14, 2024. Additionally, the police found three vehicles abandoned along the Kano-Zaria Expressway, which contained illegal substances. The Commissioner of Police praised the officers for their quick action and guaranteed the public that the Command is dedicated to eliminating the issues of kidnapping and drug trafficking in the state.
