​President of Cameroon: The authorities warn against any announcement of results. 

  The results should be known no later than 26 October. The Cameroonian authorities have warned the candidates against any announcement of results. Eight million Cameroonians voted on Sunday (12.10. 25) for a presidential election in a round in which President Paul Biya, 993 years of age, 43 of whom are in power, was the big favourite. The voting was completed at about 17H00 TU and the counting began immediately. The elections took place “without major incidents”, declared the Minister of Territorial Administration during a press conference on Sunday evening.
