In the framework of the programme of the 1 000 consumer volunteers, initiated by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to combat the high cost of living and strengthen price controls at national level, an unprecedented mobilization was registered. Launched on 18 March 2025, the call for applications has aroused massive interest, with more than 40 000 dossiers submitted online in less than a week. In view of this enthusiasm, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce expresses its gratitude to all the candidates for their commitment and their willingness to contribute to this initiative of public interest. The Ministry recalls that the deadline for the submission of applications is set for Monday 24 March 2025 at 23:59, marking the official closure of the selection process. The results will be published on 5 April 2025. This strong participation testifies to the importance attached by citizens to the fight against poverty and to the need for rigorous monitoring of prices on the national market.
