​Rencontre entre Alioune Tine et Pape Djibril Fall: an exchange “porteur d’espoir” for the people of Senegal 

  The Tink Tank Afrikajom Center, directed by Alioune Tine, welcomed in its premises, on Wednesday 16 July 2025, the honorable deputy Pape Djibril Fall, president of the party Les Serviteurs, for a courtesy visit that quickly turned into a “rich and constructive exchange”, the civil society actor indicated on his Facebook page. On the occasion of this meeting, Alioune Tine, founder of Afrikajom Center, and his host drew up a state of the lucid places of the political, social and democratic situation in Senegal. The discussions focused in particular on freedom of expression, fundamental rights, arbitrary arrests and the many political and social challenges facing the country. In addition, the two men reaffirmed their common will to work for a “more just, peaceful and stable Senegal, where dialogue remains the main lever for resolving crises”. The African Centre welcomes the “engagement and constructive stance” of the Senegalese MP Pape Djibril Fall, whom it describes as a “young, integrated and alternative political figure” in the Senegalese public debate. In this exchange, Afrikajom Center reiterates its commitment to promoting open, respectful and inclusive dialogues, with the sole objective of contributing to the strengthening of Senegalese democracy and the preservation of the Republican acquis.
