​Réseau Qnet démantelé au Ghana: 26 victims released, 09 suspects arrested 

  The Economic and Organized Crime Office (Eoco) announced on Friday 17 October that it had released 26 victims, including ten (10) Ivorian nationals and sixteen (16) Ghanaians, from a human trafficking network. They were lured into the kidnappers’ nets by lucrative job offers linked to Qnet. An operation conducted under the code name ” Quest “, a permit to proceed to the arrest of nine suspects, namely two (02) Ivorian and seven (07) Ghanaian. This case coincides with the case of the young Senegalese player, Cheikh Touré, who died on Thursday 16 October in Koumassi (Ghana). According to initial consular information, Cheikh Touré was the victim of a fraud and extortion network, which could be linked to the circumstances of his death. His body was deposited at the morgue of Ebenezer de Tafo, in the Ashanti region, about 250 km from Accra. An investigation has been opened by the Ghanaian authorities, seized by the Senegalese government to elucidate this affair!
