The Direction générale de la Radiodiffusion Télévision Sénégalaise (RTS) took a major decision on Friday 29 August 2025. By a note signed by the Director-General, Pape Alé Niang, trois cellules stratégiques rattachées à la Direction générale ont été officiellement dissolues. It is composed of the Cellule Contrôle de Gestion, the Cellule Audit Interne and the Cellule Passation des Marchés. The decision, taken on the basis of legal texts and internal agreements, takes effect from the date of its signature. According to the document, this measure is part of the structural reorganisation of the RTS. The stated objective would be to rationalise the services and redefine the internal control and management mechanisms within the Société nationale de l’audiovisuel public. The Director-General of the RTS also specified that the decision would be communicated to all the services and stakeholders concerned.
