The President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, arrived on Thursday in Saint-Louis, marking the beginning of a two-day visit to the North Pole territory. On his arrival at the Ousmane Masseck Ndiaye airport, the Head of State was warmly welcomed by the Gouverneur de la région, accompanied by the administrative authorities, local elected officials and a military delegation who paid him their respects. For the first stage of this visit, the Head of State visited Ndiayène Pendao, where the Head of State will discover the achievements of the Koica, the Korean Agency for International Cooperation, and the Boubé Onion Grouping Centre, two major initiatives for the valorisation of local production and the autonomisation of agricultural sectors. Upon his arrival at Boubé, the chef de l’Etat was warmly welcomed by the population. This tour is part of the dynamics of the territorial development priorities defined by the Vision Senegal 2050, aimed at promoting an inclusive economic and social progress across the country.
