Eighteen (18) wounded, seven (7) of them in a serious condition, were registered in a traffic accident that occurred in the night of Friday to Saturday at the height of the village of Massar Teug, in the commune of Sakal (Louga). According to a security source, the victims were quickly evacuated to the Amadou Sakhir Mbaye de Louga Regional Hospital for medical care. The frontal collision involved two vehicles of public transport, commonly known as ‘Cheikhou Cherifou’, one coming from Dakar and the other from Saint-Louis, reports Aps. The collision occurred at around 23 hours on the Louga Saint-Louis axis, a very frequented corridor.
