Saudi Arabia condemns Iran’s attacks on Gulf states, warns of consequences

Saudi Arabia has strongly criticised Iran over what it described as attacks on several Gulf and Arab countries, warning that the situation could have serious consequences.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the alleged actions as Iranian aggression and said they constituted a clear violation of sovereignty.

The Kingdom accused Iran of breaching the sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.

Saudi Arabia said it stands in full solidarity with the affected countries and is ready to use all its capabilities to support any steps they decide to take.

The statement also warned of “serious consequences if such actions continue.”

It stressed that repeated violations of sovereignty and international law could undermine regional peace and stability.

The Kingdom called on the international community to condemn the alleged attacks and to take firm action against what it described as Iranian violations threatening security in the region.
