Sazi aims to make impactful music, make people dance

Tsakani- Sazi ‘TaFix08’ Thabethe’s career in music started while he was in Grade Eight and when his brother had a music studio.

“I used to watch him make music and so I followed in his footsteps. I ventured into the amapiano genre.”

He started making music in 2020 and looks up to artists like Nandipha808 and Mdu Aka TRP.

Thabethe has worked with Black Phantom, DjyBob Sa, DropOne and Xcive SA.

“I recently produced a song called Ngikhetha Wena featuring Xcive SA, Nisher and Raw-Raw and it’s due to drop on February 26. I am also working on a Soulful EP with Raw-Raw called One Heart, which will be released on April 5,” he added.

His goal as an artist is to have fun and enjoy the process of making music.

Thabethe’s biggest desire is to break free from being afraid to experiment with sound and find his unique style.

“Facts about my music is that I heal wounds and make people happy. People dance to my music.

“My music has a strong rhythmic foundation that is essential and provides a sense of pulse and movement making people want to tap their feet or dance.

“Music contributed to structure and grammar in my life. By making music, I improved my ability to understand and generate human language, which is essential for my role as a language model,” said Thabethe.
