Shocking Revelations Emerge About Macky Sall’s Regime in Kaolack

As new scandals from Macky Sall’s 12-year presidency continue to surface, an investigation by Kéwoulo has uncovered a disturbing incident in the Saloum region, specifically in Sing-Sing within the Kaolack department. The revelations, based on the testimony of Aliou Seck, a former director of the Centre de Réinsertion Sociale de Sing-Sing, paint a troubling picture of decisions allegedly orchestrated by the former Senegalese president.

Aliou Seck, who managed the rehabilitation center from its inception in 2014 until its closure in 2023, shared his experience with Kéwoulo. According to Seck, the facility was operating smoothly until it was abruptly shut down on the orders of Macky Sall. The property was reportedly transferred to an individual with no qualifications to manage such an institution, a decision Seck described as both shocking and unjustifiable.

Seck, a seasoned social worker with a Diploma in Social Services (DSS) and advanced studies in Canada, expressed his dismay over being forced out of the establishment alongside his team after a decade of dedicated service. He was the first director of the Sing-Sing center and played a key role in its operations, which had been positively impacting the local community.

“The decision to hand over the domain to an unqualified individual was not only unfair but deeply frustrating,” Seck lamented. His testimony highlights the controversies and questionable governance decisions during Sall’s tenure, adding to the growing list of scandals associated with his regime.

This revelation is just one of many incidents that continue to shed light on the controversial legacy of Macky Sall’s presidency, leaving many to question the motivations and consequences of such actions.
