Sevilla, a LaLiga team, is aiming to sell Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke as part of their team rebuilding efforts this summer. The club acquired the former Royal Antwerp player for free last summer after he ended his contract with Russian side CSKA Moscow. However, the 27-year-old had a challenging first season at the Andalusian club. He was sidelined due to a hamstring issue for approximately three months. The skilled winger scored two goals and provided one assist in 25 league matches for Sevilla. The ex-UEFA Europa League champions have recently named Matias Almeyda as their new head coach, with Antonio Cordon now serving as the sporting director. Ejuke’s fellow countryman Kelechi Iheanacho might also depart from the Rojiblancos this summer. Iheanacho, who came to the team as a free agent last summer, was loaned out to Middlesbrough, a club in the Sky Bet Championship, in January. By Adeboye Amosu.
